Selected birds seen at Hornsby Wastewater Treatment Facility in November 2005:

14 November - A couple of images of a White-winged Scoter that made an appearance on Pond 2.   Thanks to Sally Breed for finding this gem and getting the word out so it could be seen by other birders.

23 November - An American Woodcock a bit out of habitat between Pond 2 and Pond 1W.  This bird initially flushed up with some Wilson's Snipe in the marshy parts of Pond 1W and eventually made it out to the road between the two ponds.  Why did the woodcock cross the road?  To get to the other side!

27 November - Greater Scaup on Pond 1E, amongst hundreds of Lessers.
